Sorry bub, but it is a 100% fact that Bobby Jindal allowed a massive gap to form by refusing to extend medicare coverage
So states that expanded Medicaid coverage aren't having these increases then, right?

I really believe the employer mandate and such are just devices to deter employers from providing healthcare to employees. It will become rare as companies will push out healthcare as a benefit and just provide a stipend for healthcare coverage.
Then guess what? The government controls the entire industry. Government takeover complete.

That's the plan. There are videos from the architects referrring to this as a first step.

Make it tougher for employers to provide health coverage and make it too expensive for self-employed people to buy private plans.
I believe you're spot on.

I am not the biggest Jindal fan but what he did was protect the State from an unfunded liability years down the road. I think history will show that Bobby made a wise move. The State of La unlike the Federal government doesn't own printing presses. We actually have to balance the budget unlike the hacks in D.C.
See Chicago as an example

Cook County, which encompasses Chicago and its surrounding suburbs, made a deal with the Obama administration to get an early start on the health care law’s Medicaid expansion in 2012.
quote:
While the program has already failed to meet budget projections this year, the problem is likely to get worse in 2015. Medicaid expansion patients are required to use only CountyCare medical facilities for the first year — meaning the county will end up reimbursing itself for much of its spending on CountyCare coverage.

Nope, NY insurers just asked to raise premiums 18%

Medicaid. So maybe a little less that 100% fact. But why was there no "gap" prior to the ACA?

Yeah but remember be respectful to Obama in this thread. People here now get mad if you dare attack Obama.

That's all.... Frick dude, who's pay is going up that much? For me, that would be 100 a month. Add that to every other damn increase and these clowns are sucking the middle class into poverty. According to that lying sack of shite, premiums were supposed to go DOWN. By 2500 per year per family.
Screw him and Landrieu.
2500 per family decrease per year
