Seems kinda shitty to me to be tracking voters race.

I hope that we get to the point where recording this data point is silly.

I believe they have to by Federal law.
The stats also break down by gender. Male, Female and "Unknown". Fun times. Luckily there are only 1,387 Unknowns registered as of Oct 1.
Unfortunately 12,983 are "Illiterate".

Seems even sillier for the stats to split it between white, black, and other when blacks are 13% of the population and Hispanic/Latinos are 18%.
Gonna be a fun time when blacks get put into the “other” column.

What is good sign is that people are showing up to vote regardless of the candidates they are supporting.
I know Louisiana is Trump country but what lines tell me is that there is enthusiasm to vote even in a lock state like Louisiana.
And with the process of electronic early voting, Louisiana should have relatively few issues counting ballots and the results will be completed on election night.
There could be records broken as to voter turnout. Of course the running gag will be as long as we don’t have turn out over 100% we are good.

I thought anyone that voted for Biden was black?

Louisiana's election infrastructure is as good or better than any other state. Incredibly secure.

False. Millions of ignorant people voting for ignorant policies will not ensure long term survival of the Republic.

Definitely early voting. Going to wait until the middle of next week to do it. The closest location to us had a 2 hour wait at 8:30 AM yesterday. Figure 8:30 on next Thursday or 3 PM next Thursday something like that will be the best time.

No... if you don't vote for Biden then you're not black.

Not necessarily a clown world thing. Some people might just have a name that could be either and their sex isn't listed on the voter roll.

All my grandparents are/were registered Dems, but have voted straight Republican since the 80s.
