Has left a lot of you retarded enough to believe everything on social media.

Far too many of you are divorced from mining, drilling, refining, and making things in general. It shows with how many of you fall for claims made about using up all the water, all the electricity, etc...

My nephew just graduated high school.. he said half of his class including him are going to trade school instead of regular college. He also has tons of friends at another High School that he attended his freshman year so he has remained friends with a lot of people from that school and he said basically half of that class is also attending trade schools instead of regular college

Let's turn this into an OT trades thread!!!!

The only retards that praise the trades as "good" jobs are the ones not in them. The trades fricking suck. Period. Full stop.

Mike Rowe's message is finally getting thru to the future people of this country. For too long we have looked down on the people doing these jobs and lifted up the fact that everyone can do an administrative job.

Yeah that's everybody's dream you freaking retard. How many trades companies do you think an economy can support? Very few tradesmen ever end up opening their own shops and the majority of the ones that do fail within the first 3 years.

You are so out of touch with reality. I've worked in the trades most of my life. Trust me even the guys that have shops with 8 to 10 tech are not multi-millionaires. But keep speaking on subjects that you have no idea about.

Too bad they fricked up trade schools here in Louisiana.

Community college is almost as costly as the Universities.

What people could learn in six months they are stretching to 2 years to keep the money flowing.

I have built over 200 websites for the past 15 years for local businesses and you are full of shite. I did the consulting for almost all of these businesses and have seen their books... I know everything about all of these businesses because that was my fricking job as a consultant and an SEO master to learn about these businesses and I'll say it again.. you are full of shite and a fricking retarded dumbass

He does not want to build two mexicans in a truck business that you have only participated in.. he wants to build an entire business with multiple locations.

You are just upset and embarrassed because I called your dumb retarded arse out

This is the problem. You say all trades are shite jobs, every dick and jane goes to college, now half of them work as servers and bartenders while in debt.

Serving tables is a shite job.

No. Going to delgado doesn't cost as much as LSU.

Why do people just make shite up?

Check tuition with out the fees.

My son paid $2400 for a semester about 6 years ago.i bet it is much higher now.

Still cost a fortune for a kid who just wants to be a plumber or electrician.

You have to take bull shite classes that eat up hours and are useless. Pull the same bullshite that keeps you there for two years.

Should be simple quick and affordable.

Not making shite up.

My wife taught at Delgado and quit because the admin changed the grades since most students couldn't read above 3rd grade level. The admin told her they needed the census for state funds and pell grant tuition money.

I wish the kid the absolute best. But with you is his father, he's probably doomed. You or him have probably never worked a hard day in your entire life. You don't think he's going to get a reality check when he steps in that first attic at 2:00 in the afternoon in the middle of August? Kids these days just aren't built for it. Again wish him the best of luck with the trades are not as glamorous it's a lot of you think.

I'm really not trying to be a dick but you need to wake up. None of these mega companies that your genius son is going to own one day are owned by people that have ever been in the trades. All these people make their fortunes elsewhere and since there is no barrier to entry they start these mega trade companies.
