The concern trolling and melting on here today has been otherworldly. This is why we, on the Right, cannot ever have nice things. We can disagree with one another on things and still unify when it matters like the Left always has, but we devolve into verbal fisticuffs and ebullitions of instability.

But it doesn't. Trump got in front of millions of American's for years talking about protectionism. He won the midwest campaigning on bringing back industries suffering from cheap foreign competition like the automotive and steel industries.
The tech industry is no different. They're addicted to the same cheap foreign labor that AF has always stood in opposition to.

After all that's come out about H1B the past couple days, it's ironic that you would call anyone against it, racist.
When people say they are for legal immigration, they do not mean the importation of others to displace American workers.
If Trump loses his base, he loses everything. If he loses Elon and Vivek, he doesn't lose his base as a necessary consequence. It may or may not be a good thing, but it doesn't really have a direct tie to his base. His base is anchored to his platform, which rests on the America First principle.
