They would stop "trying to silence him" if he fought for a cause instead of fighting against people that you can rally behind you for a cause.

He's talented. He needs a cause. Fighting against persuadable people is a terrible strategy. He is isolating himself.

Pick a cause or a few causes that are near and dear to your ideological vision. Express that vision. Call out proponents and opponents of the vision.

But if arguing online about who is a fed and who is not a fed can only last so long. Now that Nick has everyone's attention will he focus on his vision, his cause(s)? By shifting from the he said she said online fight to substance he could gain ground with his audience. I doubt this will happen. He does not have a track record of building a coalition. His track record is online fighting and building an audience of a bunch on-lookers watching a train wreck.

Will be interesting if he takes advantage of the attention this time or just ebbs into the social media abyss again.
