As to the RAF Fairford incident, the known facts strongly suggested that Trump was lying about the 5 arrested men having been under investigation and caught trying to blow up the base. Just as with Minab, there won't be an investigation that is released to the public, because it would expose Trump's lies. The British are our poodles when it comes to intelligence matters.
With the airliner incident, the known facts do indicate that the first officer was trying to crash the plane. Why? We don't know. You know that pilot suicide for nonpolitical reasons has happened before.
Maybe the first officer was trying to crash the aircraft in Jordan to kill himself and the Israelis onboard. Is there any evidence of that? Has anybody reported what the FO actually said?
Surely the cockpit voice recorder has already been reviewed. What does it show about motive?
Unlike RAF Fairford, there will be an investigation released in this case. Unlike the mystery Fairford 5, the identity of the FO will be determined pretty quickly by internet sleuths...much smaller subset (Omani pilot, flight certifications). Other than to smear Iran, the UAE doesn't have much incentive to lie. The investigation will be worth waiting for.

Get back to me when they are actually CHARGED and identified. Spolier alert: they won't be charged, because the public could actually investigate what happened if the identity of the person is revealed.
What's your understanding as to how the 6th person is related to the RAF Fairford incident? What WAS the RAF Fairford incident?

Are you satisfied with the Minab School investigation so far? What do you think the hold up is? You think we don't have the target data from all our Tomahawks on that day?
The 1988 USS Vincennes report was released in less than a month. Was it easier to gather information back then?

I don't have any spin. The political leaders of the US and Israel have already declared that they know what the motive of the FO was. Trump has already hilariously said that he has seen things showing Iranian involvement.
Compare that to the responsible statements of the UAE Attorney General who will lead the investigation.

Even if we eventually get out of the ME and just carpet bomb all their infrastructure on the way out this will be a perpetual problem. There is only one true solution but it would create more enemies from other foreign nations. Its a religious ideology and culture. You cant win that war in modern conventional ways. These people are like the bugs in Stormtroopers. They’ll never relent

I'm saying no UAE leaders have popped off prematurely to state a motive. There's no predetermined finding. I trust that stance.
Maybe it was an act of terror committed by an Islamist working with the Iranians. Maybe the FO was a psycho who wanted to just kill himself and everyone aboard.
