quote:

• NWO – A subset of powerful western leaders, mainly in Europe, who favor and work toward global government.

• Deep State – The leadership layer of many federal investigative bureaus. Appointed by partisans to engage in partisan endeavors. People like Comey, McCabe, etc...

• The Swamp – Congress and associated DC bureaucracies. Particularly ones bloated with pork and/or engaged in international/corporate QPQ's and other personal money making schemes. Generally speaking, political leaders who dont want to fix the current system because the current system makes them rich. See McConnell, Pelosi, etc.

• UniParty – a slur used to describe the factions of each party happy to exchange party "power" every cycle in order to maintain the status quo and continue to feast on taxpayer dollars.

• Cabal – I would guess this is a not-so-nice way to describe a political power family or dynasty like the Bushes and Clintons.

I don't dismiss many elements of this. However, I think the mistake is in thinking it's overall coordinated. Most of the people you are talking about (e.g. Congress) are below-average morons with no experience in the private sector. They don't know what the frick they're doing.

NWO has been a thing in political talk that goes back decades. Not a Trump era thing.

quote:

• Deep State – CIA, FBI, somebody else?

This has also been a topic of political discourse for decades, has nothing to do with Trump's era.

quote:

• The Swamp – Congress and associated DC bureaucracies, correct?

Hillary promised to "Drain the Swamp!" so blame this nomenclature on her. Although it goes back further. Again, long before Trump's foray into politics.

quote:

• UniParty – something about RINOS, even though most of the RINOs were Republicans back when Trump was a giant New York City liberal

Third party candidates going back decades have used this term in political discourse. Not a Trump thing.

quote:

• Cabal – Obama and the Clintons and Tom Hanks and Mystery Pizza. Who else?

Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself. Turns out all those conspiracy theories, or at least a shite load of them, were absolutely 100% true.

Probably true, but it really doesnt matter when party leadership wields the power it wields, and a split congress passes law on the strength of only a handful of votes.

We can probably also agree that the unelected bureaucracy, now highly politicized, is a different animal from what you've described.

Actually I'd describe myself a Never Trumper first and an independent secondly. Definitely voted for Kemp, but definitely didn't vote for Herschel.

I believe that the federal government is a giant battleship and not designed to move and turn too much at one time based on the populist whims and demagogues and wannabe cult leaders of the times.

Operating from the center is the best course, and it keeps all of the "the sky is falling/our democracy is on the line" nutty progressives and nutty right wingers at arm's reach and gives them less air space.

When too many Americans swear that the sky is falling and our Democracy is at the brink, it's not healthy for our government and our democracy.

In this regard nutty progressives and nutty right wingers have way more in common than they realize, and are actually the same caliber of emotionally unstable person just with different upbringings and experiences and belief systems.

The loss of the large center is bad, yes.

I've always said outfits like the CIA are populated by hardcore lifers - from "both sides" - that do whatever they want. This is why I think it's often hard to just blame it on presidents. And given that fact, just like any other institution, at some point, their mission becomes merely about the promotion of the power of the institution itself (think Penn State, pedophilia scandal or Catholic Church scandal).

I'm much less convinced that the CIA is somehow in service of the Rothschilds.

Who gets to decide what the "center" is?

What was considered the "center" 15 years ago is now considered dangerous right wing racist patriarchy neo-facism. Not because the center changed, but because the ship drifted way too far left. Sometimes rapid course corrections are necessary.

When the left is in power, they'll steer the ship 2 degrees further left, when the right gets back in power, they'll either stay the course or shift it back 1 degree to the right. And over time, that ship keeps going further and further left. Straight into a maelstrom.

The voters. e.g. I would argue this month's results were the center re-asserting themselves. They don't want chix with dix in the locker room with their daughters and they don't wan tto be told going to work on time makes them white supremacists...and they also don't want wild-eyed loons rejecting every election result or believing in crazy pedophilia scandals out of pizza parlors.

It does suck that it's so razor thin.

You must be bored. You seem to know more about soccer than politics.

In fact, politics isn't even the same old politics anymore.

It's WAR and it might be best that you either get in the fight or stay out of the way.

Dis shite is serious, sport.

This is exactly why I say that operating from the center works best. Operating from the center keeps Americans with an apocalyptic mentality like this in the shadows, where they were largely confined to before the likes of Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene and AOC and Kori Bush and Ilhyan Omar hit the scene and gave a "voice to the voiceless."

before the likes of Trump

Hang on a second chief.

The only conspiracy shite that Trump dabbled in was that the Russia Hoax was a hoax (it was!) and that Hillary violated federal law as Secretary of State with her emails (she did!), Covid came from a chinese lab (it did!) and in election conspiracy at the very tail end of his term- still up for debate.

What are all the off-the-wall conspiracy theories that you think Trump engaged in or puppetted? Was he an a-hole to the media? Yes, but that was mutual. Was he an a-hole to his political opponents? Yes, but that was also mutual. Did he ever actually "go after" anyone like Hillary or political opponents with the DOJ when he was in power? No, he did not. He hurt them with his words.

There is no requirement to start threads to keep your account. Certainly no need to start a thread every time a thought comes into your head.

Do people actually still fall for the "moderate" schtick as a tactic to gain relevance when throwing shade on the right??

If anything, I immediately dismiss people who smugly pretend to sit on the fence.

Sitting on the fence beats the hell out of doing your best to convince everybody that the sky is falling and life as we know it will soon cease to exist if the guy who's in the White House isn't voted out of the White House. Unless panic and chaos are your thing.
