Looking for good resources/info debunking the "climate crisis"

Have a relative who is convinced that the earth's temperature is going to go up by 5 degrees in the next 10-15 years unless we get carbon neutral by the end of the year.
I have no idea how he thinks it's possible for the world to get carbon neutral without a mass genocide event and massive depopulation.
My response to him is simply why don't we just adapt to climate change if it's actually happening and build sea walls and levees. He says that's not practical, and I had to laugh at that considering what he is proposing.

I’d ask him if he is getting is information from the same frickers that can only tell us there is a 50% chance of rain tomorrow.

Try common fricking sense.
If they can't tell you what the "normal" "global" temperature is supposed to be to establisha baseline, then how can you formulate policy?

Only a few outliers in the IPCC have a +5C over 100 years at exponential increasing CO2 output. His relative has no idea what he's talking about. Zero. nada. Zilch. But I'd bet $100 his relative "believes in the science".

I am not sure. I asked him to provide that resource and he didn't give anything. I know he reads the New York Times and listens to NPR. I actually love this person very much, he just unfortunately took too many blue pills in college and I'd like to help him.

There is a physics-based chart that shows the effect of CO2 as a greenhouse gas in the atmosphere that I looked for last week and could not find (I have seen it before on the net). We know that in the past CO2 has been as high as 1200 ppm. CO2 is currently at about 400 ppm. We also know that below 186 ppm of CO2 in the atmosphere, all plant life will die (a bad thing). CO2 as a greenhouse gas has a logarithmic effect in that a little bit has a big effect. Once you get above 100 ppm to 150 ppm, adding a whole bunch more does not add much warming. Since most of the CO2 in the atmosphere is natural and from sources that can not be controlled, going carbon neutral is just fricking asinine. Actual science shows these stupid motherfrickers picked the wrong gas to demonize.

Like ALL Climate Change Cultists, your relative wasn’t reasoned into his belief and he won’t be reasoned out of it.
He believes that trash- not because he’s seen facts that lead to that conclusion- but, because his political party has told him that’s what he is to believe.
Facts won’t change his mind. He’ll simply disregard them. You’ll be frustrated in the process.
Its just who they are.

I'm going to have to check this out. I have not watched it. I assume it's a good listen because at its root what climate change really is, is psychological warfare for the hearts and minds of people. Climate change hoaxers want you to believe a certain way so their arguments for communism will be voted in. Their biggest threat is freedom loving people.

I haven't researched, but Farmers Almanac is supposedly a good source for tracking cycles. Maybe NASA.
Also, not much record keeping was done before 1880. Start checking what the temp was in a certain place on this day in 1880.
I wonder why not many are curious about the fact that terminology has changed...'global warming' is now called 'weather change'...which, of course, it does.
It's also odd that everything is 10 years from happening. I remember them saying the same thing 25 years ago.
Hope you can convince your relative.
