Jesse just made a really good point regarding Strzoks suggestion that if he wanted to harm trump he would have leaked that trump was being investigated. He said Strzok/the fbi wouldn’t have because they didn’t have any real evidence at that time and Trump was on tv everyday talking about how crooked the system was and how the swamp was afraid of him. That would have given trump more ammo before Election Day.

That seems reasonable. The FBI attorney represents the FBI....not Strzok.
I don't really care. But, it seems reasonable to say "you can have your personal attorney. But, not your EMPLOYER'S attorney" etc

But it did leak. NYT wrote a story about it in October of 2016 saying FBI was investigating Trump tower's computer servers. While the article said the FBI found no wrong doing, it was still leaked to the NYT somehow.
