This has been a very transparent deal the entire time. McConnell’s working with a very thin veil here. Literally anybody could see he’s behind this.

why cant we just give these women lie-detector tests (and Moore too)?

because polygraphs can't detect lies they only measure stress levels during and interrogation. They can be easily manipulated and aren't admissible in courts. All a polygraph is good for is swaying the opinion of people that don't know any better, and think its a magic truth machine.
