What a shock to see someone like you using projection. It’s literally the first thing they teach you during indoctrination so congrats on 1st grade. Still I’m talking about reality not trying to trade talking points with an idiot. I get it you people have no idea what’s going on outside your feeding tubes and I’ve come to the conclusion that our side has it all wrong. You’re not brainwashed, you lack the requisite inventory for that. Your side targets people who simply don’t or can’t use their brains, there’s no washing needed.

I will preface this by saying that on most issues I tend to be conservative and I voted for Trump twice.
The truth is rarely partisan. This story is a prime example of binary political ideology casting aside the truth. Each side only cares to use this disaster to further their agenda, truth be damned.
Here is the truth: Texas had to ration power because coal, natural gas, wind, and nuclear power plant generation were ALL reduced due to the extreme freezing and ice. Blaming this on windmills is a scapegoat and an outright lie. The biggest discrepancy in power generation was non winterized natural gas power plants and infrastructure. That isn’t an argument against natural gas, that is simply the fact. The biggest question from all of this is to what extremes should our power infrastructure be designed to? Are we willing to spend billions more to account for once a century storms?
Windmills can be winterized, as they are in states where they expect single digit temperatures. Blaming windmills and solar is ignorant and this circle jerk is pathetic.

This can’t be said enough and honestly I’m glad more people are because I’m sick of trying to inform people who don’t want to know the truth. We can’t move forward if we can’t be honest about the facts. Thank you and have an upvote.
