You start the daily “liberalism is a mental disorder” thread and see if it gets anchored

Now get Bison or some other liberal to start a “conservatism is a mental disorder” thread and see how quickly it gets anchored or deleted

That's my point though. It depends on the thread. Making a thread about Trump golfing in either direction is not the type of thread I'm talking about.

The thread I think SFP started about the actual numbers involved with the tax bill is an example of a good thread. Ya, the usual trolls were there...but there was mostly really informative analysis on the pros/cons of the tax bill.

I mean your opinion of a “good thread” is subjective. I personallly think people who were critical of Bush but gave obama a pass on the SAME shite should have it brought to their attention. That’s a fundamental mental flaw to not realize being biased while perhaps thinking you’re being unbiased. Pointing out to people that they are being hypocritical could in fact lead to a good discussion in letting some people have some self awareness. Tax bills deserve their own threads sure, but people who accuse others of something while doing the exact same thing (or currently giving someone a pass for doing something you’ve been hypocritical of simply due to who’s doing it) is, to me, a fundamental issue, and deserved of at least pointing it out. Some will deny it, some will get angry because they are getting called out, but there are a few that might say “hmm yeah I guess I did blow that out of proportion and I’m acting completely different now”. Those are the posters who should be in the threads.
