The attempted lynching of Kavanaugh was a purposeful warning to potential conservative replacements for RBG.
I would be surprised if RBG is replaced by Trump with a conservative justice. It would take someone with brass balls and nothing to lose to accept that nomination, because that person’s full reputation and possibly their life will be subject to destruction at the hands of leftists.

Honestly. The after the left overtly decided that falsely accusing a man of being a rapist was a legit tactic politically, EVERYTHING is on the table in terms of the court.

Which should erode some of the good feelings you have about potentially getting a conservative court in trade for the Presidency in 2020.
What will stop them from adding 3 or 4 seats to the court? Nothing, IMO.

There is nothing that a single Democrat can do to stop any nominations, without the support of 4 Republican Senators.
The House is just as powerless as the Louisiana state legislature or your local PTA Board when it comes to SCOTUS appointments

To get that, we had to get Trump first.
In any case. Normally, I'd agree but at this point, the left is on a war footing. They've always sucked at compromise in such situations but they used to at least PRETEND to want it.
