After the 2016 election, for a while I thought the 2020 dem ticket would be Bernie/Warren. But after 2018 mid terms, and people were talking about Beto jumping in the race, I predicted it would be Beto/Gabbard in the “way too early” prediction thread.

Now that we are well into the campaigning and debates, let’s lock in our “too early” Dem ticket predictions.

Obviously, Beto is not happening. Even the democrats don’t buy Beto’s bullshite, which is very surprising.

It now looks like it will be Biden, Bernie, or Warren at the top. As my “too early” prediction, I’m going with Biden/Castro. I don’t think the Progressives have quite enough support to get a majority, especially if Warren and Bernie split the progressive vote. I think Biden will go with Julián Castro to check the minority box, make a play for Texas, and balance the ticket regionally.

Watching all these crazies, on both sides, debate will be entertaining at least.

I've been calling Warren for months.

Veep? Don't have a strong feel for it, but maybe Harris because she's quasi-black. Booker and Warren are both from the Northeast, so I think she would go with Harris over Booker.

But, who knows? She might pull in somebody from the Hussein Administration like Eric Holder. I think blacks like Holder (bless their hearts).

Still think Warren has played her cards just right and is in a great position once old man Bernie goes back home to his bought and paid for lakehouse.

Warren is too left, too white, too northeast to put on a ticket with Joe. Although putting her on may make the progressives happy enough to show up and vote for Joe.

Biden= Mondale
Warren=Ferraro

The dems are not learning

Took Reps a while they ran McCain and Dole before they realized it would not work.

It is all cycling

Biden/Harris.

Warren loses out imho down the stretch.

If the progressive Dems have their way:
Harris/Beto

This is the current establishment plan.

Biden would be a one term President.

Warren is too old to pair with Biden.

If Biden secures nomination his VP slot is the perfect set up for 2024.

Harris will stay in race far too long but can help Biden by doing so.

VP will be her payoff.

After Hillary's loss to Trump, there is no chance in hell Warren or Harris will run as second banana with anyone. They'll take the ship down with them first.

I’m going to cheat and choose two tickets because I believe it will be one of these:

Biden/Abrams

Warren/Castro
