That vast majority of things I post are conservative

I'm just not a zombie

You have to be terribly stupid to think that I'm progressive

What a silly topic or event to get rustled over to call people losers. I personally don’t have the patience to watch nor do I have a desire to go, but I have no problem with people out showing support and admiration for our president.

These folks are a part of history and some are able to show their children the importance of getting engaged in the shaping of their country by voting.

This quite frankly is a loser type of OP.

I didn't. Why do you keep making things up? Is it poor memory or are you just that inept?
It is his thing. Well, that and calling anyone he dislikes “liar.”

Powerman is hardly a trolling type poster. He appears drunk and pissed about the subject. It appears genuine to me.

Is political cult of personality growing with the growing power of the executive? We've gone from Obamabots to Trump supplicants.

I make no apologies for being energized by the Trump phenomenon and the MAGA movement. If you're too cool for the room, powerman, perhaps you should find another board. Based on the perception I have of you, allow me to suggest that you give the "Hunter Biden Baby-Momma and Blow Board" a look-see.
Fair enough. No different than here.

Some come seeking serious political discussion, and others come only to participate in an online pep rally. For the former, following politics is an objective, intellectual exercise. For the latter, it is an emotional one.

The latter annoy the crap out of the former.

And to a great degree a lot of the better posters no longer post here because of it

Well like I said, it is my opinion and an observation that I know to be true

Did I know it would inflame people? Sure. But anything that's not part of the echo chamber will inflame people around here.

Truth.

I mean, Obama was worshipped like a religious figure by the Democratic Party and its supporters.

Children were taught songs to sing for their insane parents about how Obama was the great savior.

It was worship akin to religious veneration.

Trump has his sycophants, but, IMO, the majority of those who call him the God Emperor are doing it because it annoys the other side.

I also find the GEOTUS thing hilarious too.

The fact that some city in Italy built a massive Trump in the God Emperor armor from Warhammer 40k as a float for a parade is fricking amazing.

Trump has those who praise him at all turns, but I don’t think it comes close to the essentially “religious worship” that Obama’s supporters seemed to push.

Right. And now it's happening again by the same people that made fun of it.

Well yeah the GEOTUS is just people online being silly

No. I do think that he has a much larger core group of "true believers" but I don't think they're as ridiculous as the ones teaching children songs that you alluded to.

Bigger in numbers, slightly less crazy, and every bit as stupid.

Meh...you come across as just over the middle with a slant to the left IMO. You aren't Rex by any means but I don't see how you can say you are conservative.

I can't help it, I like Powerman. I can appreciate his contrarian attempts at objectiveness. It keeps things interesting.

If nothing else, even on his worst days, at least he can think for himself.

Can you name some issues where I think that I'm not conservative? Or is it perhaps only in your imagination. I'm genuinely curious why you would think that I'm moderate left.
