Another thing I noticed about Clinton was that he was often fed extremely simple questions that required nothing more than 'yes' or 'no.' But he never started an answer with yes or no.
IE,
Q: "Mr. President, did you wake up this morning?"
A: 'Well, let me just say this about that....'
