Whenever someone begins a sentence with, "I mean no offense," I usually just stop listening/reading because it is typically disingenuous and patronizing.

But because you ask two questions that are easily factually answered I will answer you (sort of):
1) my grandfather was born at the turn of the century
2) I've lived in the Deep South my entire life (with co-residency in MT since 2005).

Perhaps you have different definitions of "subjugate" and "significant" than I.

And BigScrub's absurd race obsession is tiresome.

Every race has used "belittling" language and attitudes toward pretty much every other race.

We can quibble over how long it has been since blacks were whites' subjects, and if you think they still were in the 1980s, then I guess that's your issue to sort out.

We can do the same with what % of the US still believes black people are literally subhuman (not talking actions, but genetics).

But those issues are ultimately not the main point.

Do you believe blacks are too weak-minded, weak-willed, stupid, and unenlightened to rise above this practice the way most people in even semi-polite society have done?

I personally do not. If you do then perhaps you should examine your soul, if you believe you have one.
