I've always thought it meant believing one race is inferior to another. If we agree on that definition, then let me ask this question: When you prop up one group because you think they need it, what does that show?

There is a conference in BR this weekend to celebrate blackness and examine black issues. It is hailed in the Advocate as a great thing. We know how a conference celebrating whiteness would be covered in the media.

This is just one example, but there are plenty if you look around. Leftist philosophy encourages only certain races to be proud, to have their own months, channels, departments, etc. If the Left does these things out of sympathy, doesn't that show they believe those groups are somehow inferior?

If I'm a black man worth any salt, "racism" and Affirmative Action would embarrass me.

Not renting an apartment to a person because of their race is a pretty huge red flag that someone is racist.

Wouldn't you agree?

Sure. You have a final judgment that says that happened? Post it. When you don’t, will you admit you are either ignorant or dishonest?

I never understand these threads.

You are asking a bunch of liars to lie to you.

Racism is anything they don't agree with. That's it. Like every other word, they shift it's meaning to fit their mental illness.

Well, well, well, look who's back. Go ahead and show us where that is happening now. You can't. Another failed "gotcha" from the queen bitch of this board. So truly pathetic.

Not if someone else applies who has a better credit score. I own rental property. I'll rent to anyone who pays rent and doesn't trash the place. Most of the black renters I've had over the years were great. I've had three awful experiences. All three were black women.

You might be assuming all apartment leasing agencies are all run by the same race.

Yes or no?

Don’t lash out just yet. Yes or no.

No...because I don't want my property destroyed by white or black thugs...it's business, not racism. Act civil, be a dependable good worker and pay your bills...everything else falls in place.

Maybe a lefty will see this thread and then think logically about what I posted in the OP. If it makes even 1 person reconsider, it’s worth it to me because society is better off. I do get your point though.

Saying that someone isn't allowed into a building or to attend a meeting because of their race is racism. Wouldn't you agree?

This is what the word racism actually means:

“When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.’

’The question is,’ said Alice, ‘whether you can make words mean so many different things.’

’The question is,’ said Humpty Dumpty, ‘which is to be master — that’s all.”

Has it all. The book was written by a pedo. Has a role you'd swear was written for Nadler (Humpty Dumpty).

What more could anyone ask for?

It is a classification tool.

A filter based on objectively observable characteristics.

It is a tool and like any tool, is amoral.

If I truly believe and tell others, regardless of your race, religion, past experience and financial circumstance, you can be as successful as you want to be, am I racist?

Or...

If I truly believe and tell others, that because of your race, religion, past experience and financial circumstance, no matter how successful you want to be, you cannot do it, am I racist?
