I dont care which side you pick in this silliness but the players think they can legally do this and its their right. Its not. You are on company time and even if you werent on company time, the nfl can still fine, suspend or fire you due to what they deem bad behavior. If they want to strike, fine let them strike. If owner says you cant do this on my time, which starts as soon as you come into the stadium, you cant fricking do it. Why is that so fricking hard to grasp? Maybe concussions i dont know.

The NFL should’ve gone the college football route and done the anthem while the players are still in the locker room. It would’ve avoided this whole circus.

South Park actually ingeniously solved this issue a couple seasons ago in the episode where JJ Abrams saves the country by "rebooting the national anthem"
Instead of making changes to the anthem itself, the stadium announcer just says "ladies and gentlemen, please STAND.... SIT, OR KNEEL in respect for this great country's national anthem"
