tv hasn't been the same since archie bunker went off the air. Remember when he use to tell edith funny stuff? /Those were the days my friends, hair was short and skirts were long and I don't know what went wrong those were the days/ oh my oh my TV late night just aint the same without Johnny carson and letterman too. Our night s were dark but now so blue/

Slowly but surely Americans started to become more fractured. You didn’t have that common shared experience at the end of everyday to bring you back to center.
