Your ignorance is astounding and don't know what you're talking about. YOUR hero is Saul Alinsky.

In his defense, McCarthy may have been a blowhard, but he wasn't wrong. Post cold war, the ties between the democratic party, Ted Kennedy in particular, and the Soviet government were declassified and published. Everything McCarthy warned us of actually was happening and did come to pass

Yeah but that ignoramus knows nothing about that. He's an ignorant troll.

Eh.

There have been at least two times in US history where protests and riots have been worse in this country.

Civil Rights and Vietnam protests.

The US survived. I think the US scan survive these bunch of pussies running around because they're feelings are hurt.

I don't think you guys understand what I'm saying. I know there have been bigger riots. I lived through at least one.

That's not the point. The point is that each of those moments, in retrospect, was a moment when perception shifted or everything came into focus.

I think last night, and tonight at NYU, shows that words don't work anymore. Debate and argument don't work. No one is listening (on either side).

Years from now, I think we'll look back and say,"Yep, that was when it became apparent that things had changed."

bullshite, McCarthyism exists to this day. School books, politics, etc. WW2 didn't start on D-Day. Russians defeated Nazis. We were just a part of the victory. At best, Roosevelt and America should get 30% credit for stopping Hitler. Stalin obviously gets the rest.

I really don't know. I'm through trying to predict it, honestly.

I'm beginning to think that 9/11 was a reprieve. It delayed what we are seeing today by a decade or so.

A society with no existential threat eventually turns inward and destroys itself. Years from now, we'll all look back and find that moment when things changed. I could be wrong about the particular moment, but there will be one. There always is.

The Russian counter-attack at Stalingrad doesn't happen without American bullets, trucks, fuel, and food. "The Russian Army ran on Spam". There is zero chance of a Russian victory, I repeat, zero, without American logistics and supplies.
