Lafayette has been steadily growing all the while dealing with an oil and gas industry that has been leaving. it's economy is in transition and i think it poised to bring in new industry.

its not blowing and going, but its still safe and relatively nice. won't take much to turn it into Baton Rouge if we aren't careful

Great, we get a dumb democrat female going into a national election year, with Antifa and BLM having already tried to pull shite here. I'm sure the local protest homo culture will get everything their hearts desire.

Great

She’s been president of the Acadiana Planning Commission for several years. Lafayette will be fine.

Then she went and endorsed Boulet a week or so before the runoff.

Maybe. If she can be hands off enough to keep momentum of the economic growth in the region going, and not do anything on the social issues side to make the rural conservatives turn out against her in four years, she'll probably be re-elected.

Louisiana likes its incumbents, and Lafayette Parish isn't any different.

I'm going to get a verdict much sooner than that, when shitheads try to go off here during our next 'The Purge: Election Year' election year.

She's a white democrat woman. She can't help herself. I'll be all in for the recall if/when she fricks up.

If she's smart, she stays quiet next year regarding the Presidential race.

I always thought that organization was ABBA, after the 70's pop band ABBA.

Lafayette Parish, is going to have a series of Blanco Vision moments for the next 4 years.

Your post reminded me the band and this song.

But unfortunately for the many years of listening to Rush Limbaugh, I don’t hear Dancing Queen, I hear Paul Shanklin’s Banking Queen.
