WWL is liberal as hell.

Definitely a different station from when I was young.

TV or radio?

I know things have changed A LOT at the TV station since the early-mid '10s... Mikel Schaefer moved from assistant news director to become news director at Fox 8... Chris Slaughter was basically removed as news director and he ended up at WAFB for a while (think he's retired now)

fairly certain a lot of their hires (on camera & in news management positions) since have been what you'd expect from a national media conglomerate (TEGNA Inc.) that seems to have fully bought into the DEI stuff

Is it safe to say there aren’t even enough votes outstanding to push Landry below 50%?

Ouachita is now finished

Vermilion Parish is the only Parish still counting votes... still waiting on 14 precincts from there

right now... an average of 271 voters have voted in each precinct in Vermilion Parish

271 x 14 = 3,252 votes roughly still outstanding if that average holds

he could get 0 of those estimated 3,252 outstanding votes and still not fall below 51%... let alone 50%

and FWIW... Landry is getting 78% of the vote in Vermilion Parish

so it seems like he should only continue to expand his lead if that continues in Vermilion

There were too many republicans in these races. It might not mean much but Dems won Sec of State, AG and Treasurer. They will need to be defeated in the runoffs, which I doubt will have high turnout since Governor is decided.

The South is changing, Louisiana is being left behind. Can we change that? Stay tuned.
I doubt it. Landry will be awesome at banning gay stuff and CRT and we can beat our chest about that while continuing to be 50th in everything with sky high insurance costs.

Murrill will win AG and Fleming will win Treasurer…..Nancy will need to do some campaigning but she can certainly win as well.
