I know the curfew violation was dropped. Was that the only charge dropped?

they did know who they were chasing. travis called 911 and told them arbery was the same person seen during recent break-ins in the neighborhood.

That all looks like political theater designed to convince the jury of how scary guns are. They should be respected but not made into some mystical object that's going to randomly load itself and go bang in a courtroom.

Or even one of those bright colored plastic things that goes in the chamber to easily show it’s cleared.

Should've let the police handle it. A citizens arrest is one thing if you have 100% they did it, but you can't drive around like a scene from Halloween 4 where they're shooting the first person they see who is clearly running away.

Talking about the Arbery case

he was shot when he ran towards the truck. then around the truck and attacked a man holding a shotgun.

and this isnt the thread to discuss this. i wasnt trying to hijack it. sorry for even bringing this up. not discussing it anymore here.

With the threats to the jury. There is no way I would be forced to serve.

I would announce my guilty verdict on all counts and why in open court.

honestly after reading some of your posts in other threads, I refuse to submit myself to reading more of your posts especially anything related to trials.
Nothing good comes from attempting to interpret or argue with one of such a terribly, terribly low IQ. Whatever content your post contains I hope god has mercy on your poor, poor retarded soul.

warmest regards, AMS.

Chamber flag.

This gun hasn't left the courtroom all day and probably hasn't been more than a foot from the guy (cop?) who's watching it at any time. All this "make sure it's cleared" stuff was silly and meant to sway the jury IMO.

Some of ya'll have more confidence in the jury than I do. I have seen the other side, they are just as convinced that he is guilty as ya'll are convinced he is innocent. I think he acted in self defense, but some people are just 100% made up that he is a terrorist and I find it hard to believe some of those people didn't make it to the Jury.

I just hope all the back the blue at all costs guys see how corrupt cops are and are complicit in things like this. The system is broken, this trial even happening shows it.

The judge can also step in and overturn the verdict.

every testimony from anyone actually involved that night including the survivor of the gunshots has conceded KR was attacked first before firing shots in self defense.

according to the trial, they only saw the neighbor point and they saw arbery running. It's true they new he had been in houses in the neighborhood, knew who he was, and had been told things had been stolen, but that morning they didn't have enough knowledge of what was happening to do what they tried

Just getting home and plan to watch today’s trial. Any highlights I should be sure to see and anything that’s not worth watching?

Yes indeed… today was amazing:

Be sure to watch Grambo (the older lady who was guarding businesses while armed with her pistol)

And then even better

Son of Rainman, the photo journalist who stood up to the fat DA. I am going to watch it again!

Ironically everything is essentially highlights for the defense, especially the prosecution.
the most important part was done yesterday where GG admitting he aimed an illegally possessed firearm at KR prior to himself being shot, and that GG himself was concerned that KR sustained head trauma by other assailants like jump kick man and the other deceased assailant skateboard bro before he chose to assault KR.

today we just had more evidence the prosecution is political and potentially tried to influence a photographer witness who is to be involved as a witness in another trial.

today was a VERY interesting day...

prosecution called the medical examiner who showed some autopsy photos (trigger warning if you don't want to see dead bodies... esp the skateboard dude's whose positioning with eyes open was esp creepy)

but the ME basically confirmed that some of the injuries suffered from 1 of the deceased was really only possible from the deceased reaching for the gun

Grambo or Grambaw... which was the defense's second witness (I think) after lunch... she was awesome

and then the photographer kid that pretty much finished off the day gave big boy prosecutor a verbal smackdown so vicious the judge had to try to calm things down (ETA: like this kid... who may or may not be on the autism spectrum... basically accused the ADA of trying to force him to change his statement to police... which may or may not amount to prosecutorial misconduct... whether it be in this case or another case)
