KY-04 Primary Day: Massie vs $25M in Donations from the Israel Lobby

Will a US Congressional Primary be bought with the influence of foreign-tied money? We will soon find out.
Polls opened at 6AM Eastern and will remain open until 7PM Eastern in the Central Time Zone counties.
Massie saw a late-night surge on Kalshi, improving his odds from 39% to 46%.

Masshole fixin to go down

This Massie Derangement Syndrome is definitely the peak of the irrational MAGA hive mind.
If it was the first time it would be compelling, but it is getting worrisome how so many people are promoting the less conservative, big government guy openly backed by a foreign state who is a sock puppet with no substance running exactly like Biden over one of, if not the, most conservative members of Congress who is the small government politician they spent years screaming they wanted more of in Congress.
Mass formation psychosis is apparently real, and Covid wasn't its best example.

I think the beef here is with Miriam Adelson, a woman who Donald Trump said was more loyal to Israel than America.
LINK
quote:
I get her in trouble with this, but I actually asked her once… ‘What do you love more? The United States or Israel?’ She refused to answer. That might mean Israel,” Trump says, smiling, while looking at the dual Israeli-American national.

I'm still waiting on responses about policies.
Massie is a huge proponent of conservative policies and small government
What is the problem so many posters have with those policies?
They can't seem to discuss Massie without using referential (relation to Trump or "the left") or irrelevant (who endorsed him) points. They seem completely unable to simply address the policies.

We heard their answer from Vance. It's not his disagreements it's how he disagrees. I didn't realize MAGA was so feminine

I heard on PBD yesterday that over 80% of Massie's political contributions were from leftist donors/organizations.

Just a reminder; This is what the Trump First crowd wants to remove from congress;
Un-fricking-believable.
Un-fricking-believable.

The inverse is true and Gallrein took $100,000 from a Chinese CCP-owned subsidiary
85% of Gallrein donations come from Democrat donors
quote:
85% of donors who contributed the maximum amount allowable to Gallrein’s campaign have a history of donating to Democratic candidates, a Daily Caller review of Federal Election Commission (FEC) records found.

Being upset he opposes DEM-like policies
Promoting a candidate who runs like a DEM
Discussing Massie like a DEM
Claim Massie is a "RINO"
Claim to be "America First" and support the candidate bankrolled by people primarily supporting a foreign country

It's not Massie's policies, it's his not being a good "teammate ". Massie isn't a good politician.

Well the MAGA-adjacent crowd was never accused or being honest or particularly smart

Oh
This makes it so much more rational of a take, then.

What does this matter if he's right on policy?
Also, you need to read the post
quote:
They can't seem to discuss Massie without using referential (relation to Trump or "the left")
That's not a productive or rational stance to take.

The NYT always endorses the most conservative candidate.

i think massie ought to be in the libertarian party. but for a chance to win, he runs as a republican. he is conservative, but a terrible teammate.
