The Petrodollar Pact is one of the wellsprings of the continuing crisis. The UniParty® exists to perpetuate the Deep State above all other concerns and the Deep State exists to perpetuate our nation’s print-on-demand monetary system over all other concerns.
This ultimately is why a vote in this UniParty® charade is at best a vote for the status quo. Nothing changes until this nation returns to sound monetary policies.

I'm going to need more than just "this happened" for me to be outraged about this. The two guys knew each other from Kushner brokering peace deals. Obviously, Kushner was able to affect positive change in the middle east. It makes sense to me that countries who have benefited from those change would want to further invest in someone like that.

Nope. They are buying access. But Kushner has his own set of skills and is a political mover in his own right.
Let’s not get distracted here. The entire political process is replete with access buying. Whether it’s lobbying, buying large quantities of nonsense autobiographies (written by ghost writers), do-nothing jobs on boards and universities, speaking fees, etc., it’s about political support and access.
Remember that Kushner actually was the key figure in negotiating the Middle East Peace deals. He’s a player on the international scene.
The reason this story is being reported is because it has the appearance of the Hunter Biden story - at least on the surface.

Kushner got into some shite with that huge bet he made on that Manhattan office/residential tower. he was seriously stressed for some capital during Trump's term. That said, there is a legit business purpose as Kushner and his family empire have a long history kind of like Trump. yeah - sure its a buddy deal he wouldn't probably have got otherwise but at least there is a legit business case that can be made unlike Hunter was just selling his access.
