How do you know that? Floyd had a lethal amount of methamphetamine and a fatal dose of fentanyl in his bloodstream. That is a toxic drug combination. That in no way exonerates Chauvin but it certainly ameliorates the chances the cop will not be convicted of the murder charge.
He did. But Chauvin also stood on his neck for 8 minutes instead of listening to the guy and helping. Maybe the judge let’s him off who knows but to me his was complicit in his death. This isn’t the battle to fight, what Chauvin did was wrong and the ordeal was a much needed wake up call to how the police behave (sometimes). I’m not advocating for the riots for sure, that was completely uncalled for and it’s just people acting like animals. But we need reform in our law enforcement and judicial systems.

Stop lying. It’s weird.

If you don't want to be charged with murder then don't have your knee pressing on someone's neck when they say they can't breathe!

No, he did not do this.

Man you people are delusional.
Two different pathologists reported it as homicide. Since he also had covid why don't you say that instead? Having a small amount of narcotics in the blood stream doesn't mean it was an od.

it seems that your feelings from the only the video guide your perspective despite a slew of contradictory facts.
I admit I was wrong about the overdoses, and I am trusting you are correct about these drug levels published in his blood were "not critical" of an OD. How would I know? I do not...
at the same time I think you're way too casual with the "below recreational" doses
nor have you commented on his bizarre behavior being relevant to the evidence at hand?
Is your story he lied he couldn't breathe? it was an act of resistance?
Fentanyl , Meth, and THC, ....all moderate to low levels...????

his death was also homicidal in nature. not natural causes.
Look, as I indicated above, I believe Chauvin’s knee did no favor to Floyd’s heart. Yet the toxic combination.of drugs — combined with Floyd’s pre-existing heart condition — was also very likely a contributor to the extirpation of Floyd’s heart.
The coroner’s report itself indicated that Floyd died not from asphyxiation but from heart failure. Considering these possible contributing factors in the stoppage of Floyd’s heart, it appears to me Keith Ellison overcharged Chauvin.

Just stop talking to these people. If it wasn't for the politics and propaganda of it they would clearly know that kneeling on someone's neck for 8 1/2 minuted would kill anyone. It only takes 2 minutes without oxygen to die.

Excessive force by a police officer killed him.

well, I would be curious, real curious what the pathologist said after watching an hours worth of police head cam with audio....
and why did the Mayor prevent these from being made public?
Because it makes Floyd look like a drugged out thug who resisted police trying to take him into custody...
same ole same ole...
but let's defund police so all these problems will go away

Doesn't change one damn thing about their professional medical diagnosis.
Which was homicide.
Which you are arguing with for no actual reason other than you hate the backlash so badly that you want your view to be the right one.
Except this time, it isn't.

Systematic racism.
Just kidding, drugs.

what the hell does recreational levels of drugs mean pal?
Frick, we lose 200 souls a day in America to 'recreational drug use

Police negligence for sure led to death at least. Will have to wait for the trial to hear the experts to determine if it’s murder.

I never have stated here or elsewhere that I approve of Chauvin’s actions. I long have been opposed to the overuse of excessive force by police.
What I am arguing against is the notion being floated that there is some “safe” recreational use of fentanyl and meth for a man with heart disease. This is as asinine a claim as the argument that Chauvin was justified in continuing to restrain a man who had obviously slipped into unconsciousness.
