I said this in a few posts yesterday and I'll say it again here: their argument is that they are trying to use "voter dilution" as a vehicle with which to conflate "right to vote" with "right to win".

Do black votes count differently? All this is blacks wanting a guarantee to have a black congressman/woman. Why do we not have specifically drawn majority Hispanic districts? Or Asian? Or Muslim? Or white? So they too can be represented by their own race or religion?

It’s all bullshite. Either they are equal Americans who must put up quality candidates that appeal across racial lines like everyone else or they want special treatment based on race to guarantee a black representative. They cannot have their cake and eat it too
