A planned Christmas Eve jazz concert at the Kennedy Center, a holiday tradition dating back more than 20 years, has been canceled. The show’s host, musician Chuck Redd, says that he called off the performance in the wake of the White House announcing last week that President Donald Trump’s name would be added to the facility.

… and nothing of value was lost.

Adding Trump’s name to the Kennedy center is so fricking shitty.
I have no problem with putting Trump's name on it.
But how about waiting until he's dead, as with Kennedy?
This type of shite just feeds the narrative of Trump being a narcissist, just naming shite after himself.

Too bad, I'm sure the "Skin Flutes" got a lot of action once these soy boys got home.

You do know that isn’t remotely true, right? The Kennedy Center has been in continuous operation for decades. The idea it was going to be “bulldozed” is a fabrication.

That's something that a really really soft person does. These people aren't a benefit to society, they're a drain. I wish I could decide not to go to work anymore because the name on the buildong changes. Hell, I make money for liberals all day. I loathe it, but if I held myself to that standard, I would severely limit my income potential. I just grin and bear it.

Oh well.
I guess I'll have to go to Bourbon Street to hear a world class Jazz Vibraphonist now.

This is the frustrating thing with being on the right these days.
Trump honestly earns more of the criticism he gets than the cult members would ever admit.
He also gets a significant amount that he didn't earn. That's true too.
But I don't understand why he thinks it's advantageous to always be aggravating the narrative. I don't understand why the cult loves it so much.
It's childish nonsense. Yet the populist zombies on both sides can't get enough of it, whether they are pro or anti. It's like the entire political world has become professional wrestling.

Because democrats always show their arse.
The board voted for this building rename.

Always reporting in a way to paint it a little different than it is.
...the White House Announcing; --paint it as a decision that was made by Trump's administration.
The real reason they're mad about it: It will be harder to erase anything good about President Trump from the future history books that they are writing now.

First things first. Look at to WHOM he's aggravating. Elitist uptights who look down on everyone who isn't them with great disdain.
Degrees of love may vary, but for the most part, I like what Trump has done. Policy wise. And for all the talk of 'he doesn't care about YOU', I say so freaking what? I'll never meet him or any other President. I'll never talk to, write to or text anyone in power up there. I'm not Jeffrey Epstein, chatting with a delegate during a Congressional hearing.
It's about how much he pisses off YOU that makes me so damn happy he's MY President. After all the garbage the Left threw at him, made up and tried to get him tossed in prison? Seriously? I'd vote for him a 3rd term if it wasn't for JD Vance, and the fact Trump is pushing 80.

Was it in bad shape, and Trump worked on renovating it?

Hopefully you get to donate to his GFM when he no longer gets paid from the Trump-Kennedy center.

And so does he. And the more he does it, the more opportunity it gives them.
Again, what's the advantage?
How does the country benefit with those two acting like kids in the backseat constantly screaming about touching each other on a car ride? How does this much energy funneled into completely petty nonsense help anything?
