The Kennedy Center was named after my uncle, President John F Kennedy. It was named in his honor. He was a man who was interested in the arts, interested in culture, interested in education, language, history. He brought the arts into the White House, and he and my Aunt Jackie amplified the arts, celebrated the arts, stood up for the arts and artists.
It is beyond comprehension that this sitting president has sought to rename this great memorial dedicated to President Kennedy. It is beyond wild that he would think adding his name in front of President Kennedy’s name is acceptable. It is not.
Next thing perhaps he will want to rename JFK Airport, rename the Lincoln Memorial, the Trump Lincoln Memorial. The Trump Jefferson Memorial. The Trump Smithsonian. The list goes on.
Can we not see what is happening here? C’mon, my fellow Americans! Wake up! This is not dignified. This is not funny. This is way beneath the stature of the job. It’s downright weird. It’s obsessive in a weird way. Just when you think somone can’t stoop any lower, down they go…

No one besides a small percentage of his base cares about these childish antics. Unemployment and cost of living is rising. Instead of focusing these problems, he spends his whole day doing everything in his power to piss off the other half of the country. That’s a sure fire way to get every Dem out to vote in 2026 and 2028. And while independents might dislike Dems, I promise you they will hate this administration more if this is all he continues to do.

Let me explain:
I had a friend in college who dated this woman who smoked three packs a day. She had a deep, raspy voice.
When he broke up with her, she stood outside his door for an hour yelling “MARKK, I LOVE YOU MARK” then coughing fitfully.
She was a nice gal, and it was deeply sad and depressing, so to cope and keep from crying, we turned to humor.
Every single time we saw the guy, someone would clinch their throat, deepen their voice, and croak “MARKK, I LOVE YOU MARK.”
And Mark would lose his MF’n mind.

He’d call us deplorable. Grotesque. He even tried laughing us off and calling us weird.
This went on for years. He would get so angry that one time we honestly thought he was having a heart attack. And we would laugh so hard our stomachs hurt, but we persisted. For years. And he kept treating women he met poorly, for years.
Years
Until one day he exploded so violently he had to disappear from school for a few days.
The next time, the next dozen times, we did it, he didn’t react at all. So it stopped being funny.
Then he met a wonderful woman a week later, treated her with respect, and they got married.
That was thirty years ago, and they are still happily married.
It took years but he finally woke to the fact he was being a total a-hole.
What happened to the smoker? IDK. This story isn’t about her; she did nothing wrong. Not nothing; she should have stopped smoking and been less clingy, but the story is about Mark.
We couldn’t just say “You’re being an ahole, Mark” twenty-six times a day until he relented. That doesn’t work with men. We needed to trigger him with the same joke over and over FOR YEARS until he woke up and confronted the fact that he’s being an ahole to women.
And once he realized how absurd he acted, once he felt that overwhelming flood of guilty we all felt for him that first day at the door, then the joke stopped being funny. Immediately.
Well, libtards, Trump’s name is directly equivalent to saying “MARKK, I LOVE YOU MARK.”

There would be no more Kennedy Center if Trump didn’t allocate $257 mill for renovations, maintenance and administrative expenses in the BBB. This will bring back some of the major shows and bring attendance back. The left can cry all they want and it’s just the new thing to bitch about.
