Poll.

Chip Roy just told War Room that Middleton would make it easier for Muslims to build their own cities.
I don’t know anything about Middleton.

A new poll from the University of Houston (UH) indicates that in the heated Republican primary runoff election for U.S. Senate, incumbent U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) continues to trail Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, while state Sen. Mayes Middleton (R-Galveston) holds a nine-point lead over U.S. Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX-21) as the two vie to become the GOP nominee for state attorney general. According to the poll, conducted between April 28 and May 1 of 1,200 likely Republican primary voters, 48 percent of respondents plan to vote for Paxton while 45 percent prefer Cornyn, and 7 percent are undecided. Paxton also touted a higher net favorability rating of 7 percent, compared to -2 percent for Cornyn. Of those who voted in the March 3 GOP primary for U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX-38), who did not make the runoff, Paxton leads Cornyn 54 percent to 35 percent. Poll respondents preferred Middleton over Roy by 48 percent to 39 percent, with 13 percent unsure. In the Republican runoff election to head the Texas Railroad Commission, incumbent Commissioner Jim Wright led with 35 percent over former Tarrant County Republican Party Chairman Bo French’s 28 percent, but another 37 percent were undecided. Political analyst and professor Mark Jones, a director of the poll, told The Texan that down-ballot candidates are finding it more difficult to reach voters this year.

Chip is talking about SB 854. It was a bill Middleton authored that restricted zoning and regulatory laws over mutli-family housing on religious organization owned land. Mayes has been otherwise outspoken against Islamification and Sharia Law. He's a rep of Brazoria/Harris/Galveston counties so no direct affiliation with what is going on in Dallas and EPIC City as far as I know.
SB854 was meant to be something for all religions but since Christian/Jewish organizations in Texas don't build a lot of multi-family complexes on their land...this was portrayed as Islam-sensitive because of the huge problem Texas has with it.
He was pretty stupid IMO for bringing this to the floor at this time. I HIGHLY doubt any christian/jewish organizations came to him pushing this as this is not the big of an issue in Texas...or he is so dense that he didn't think about what something like SB854 would portray with an obvious Islam issue in North Texas.
Whoever is gonna break the H1B Visa scams and get rid of the massive amount of illegal Indians and Latin American's is getting my vote.

I don’t know anything about this Middleton guy, but he looks suspect AF.
Roy and Aaron Reitz have been on War Room plenty of times.

Sounds like Middleton made a stupid move or some lobbyist got to him.

The gulf states publicly stated they were going to spend billions to “invest” in red states like FL and TX.
I have to wonder if some of that money is being used to influence politicians like you see here to advocate for pro-Arab causes.

Roy worked vs Trump and is a RINO IMO

I think Roy complained about the money being spent in the bills passed under Trump but he always fell in line to be a team player unlike massie.
But importantly Roy has been banging the Indian and Muslim drum longer than any other national politician. He wants to completely get rid of the Muslims which I support and end visas.
I think he’d do a good job. Don’t know much about Middleton.
I do know that the railroad commission incumbent is terrible and EVERYONE should do whatever they can to get French elected.
