(KEMP and CAGLE go to runoff, ASA clutches) GA and AR gubernatorial primaries thread

Tomorrow is the gubernatorial primaries in both these states.
Haven't been following the Arkansas one, but hoping Williams wins the GOP nomination in Georgia. He's not the front runner to GOPe Cagle, but Williams has the best plan to make Georgia great.

I don't really dislike Asa but I have an issue with his 'Arkansas values' line in the commercials. I'm actually sick of any candidate using that phrase. It's just patronizing and condescending to me- as if we all think one way on everything.

Asa has been ok. His predecessor, Democrat Mike Bebee, did a good job too. The only knock I have on Asa is he initially ran on an anti Common Core policy, but did a fast 180 after getting elected.

We've had the great good fortune to have aggressively mediocre governors for quite some time here in Arkansas. I know what sounds like damning with very faint praise indeed, but when you look at some of the governors from other states we've been damn lucky.

Yeah, I don't have any real complaints about our last couple of governors. Huckabee took that big tobacco settlement and squandered, if I remember correctly.
