First off, I don’t think you can murder a one cell egg (immediately after fertilization) but you can murder a fetus at 9 months. In between is the gray area.
What interests me is the population-genetic results of outlawing abortion due to rape or pedophilia.
For example, what happens in subsequent generations when abortion is outlawed when a 50-year-old man rapes and impregnates a child.

I agree 100%. Where, between one second, and 9 months is the real issue.
But if you believe abortion is murder, then its murder in every case.

I agree these thoughts do not align, but rape and incest abortions are so rare that ceding this exception to save millions of lives in the short term is worth it. You have to get the wins you can when you can.

My God you are stupid. I have opposed abortion my entire life. My post had nothing to do with the morality around abortion. It was a point of logic. Kelsey Grammer’s point had zero logical merit.
If an innocent girl gets raped and impregnated there are two problems. One is justice; the other is the unwanted pregnancy that was forced upon an innocent. Taking the life of the rapist deals with the former; an abortion deals with the latter. Killing the rapist does nothing to alleviate the problem of the pregnancy, so Grammer’s point has no merit, regardless of the aesthetic quality of it. I don’t expect you, Gus, to understand this, but it is unassailable whether you do or don’t.
