I guess I'm crazy because I really don't care about this. I also don't care about "insider trading." If I knew something no one else knew about a stock I would do everything I could to protect my family's interests and I don't understand why other people wouldn't do the same.
It's one thing to direct legislation in order to build a portfolio, but I feel far differently about getting out before losing everything you have. Are you just supposed to sit there and let all of your investments go to crap even though you know it's coming? I don't understand that logic.

And she sold the stocks on.... JANUARY 24.
Guess what else happened that day: her intelligence briefing on the coronavirus.
If they can't prove that she had communications with the 3rd party broker ordering the stock sell off, there's nothing that can be done to her.
A coincidence is not enough for a conviction in a court of law where guilty beyond a reasonable doubt is the standard.

It's about what you can prove actually happened.
It's not about doing the impossible and proving a negative ie. proving that she had no communication with the third party broker.
Can't get any more simple than that.

I will vote for Collins.
Loeffler was already on soft ground before her stock dump after her classified briefing.
She is dead now. She has no chance.

I hope that this Chinese virus is over soon so that Trump can fly in and do a big rally with Tubbs.

They really do live in another world. So arrogant and full of themselves. American aristocracy giving 1700-1800 British aristocracy a run for their money. Off with their heads!

Yeah this was the worst possible time for that story to drop when she's a brand new Senator, lots of conservatives are skeptical of her and her wealth is a double edged sword.

November is a long time from now and that's an eternity in politics.
Furthermore, Collins still has to raise enough money to compete with Loeffler and I don't see anything that demonstrates he has that ability at this point in time.
If he can raise the money, then Collins should be the favorite.

Would not be out of character for him.
Trump is a vindictive motherfricker and can hold a grudge line no one else.
That's why I would never work for someone like him. I once had a boss like that and it had the potential to be really bad if I didn't get creative resolving the situation. And I got out of there pronto.

It strikes me as odd that she would risk her standing and relative obscurity just to avoid losing value on stocks when she is as rich as she is.
My hunch is that they are just so accustomed to operating with inside info that it didn’t strike her as irregular.
Bingo! It’s all indicative of the two tier system......There’s a justice system for the Swampers and well connected.....

Should Loeffler have to do the perp walk for securities fraud?
