It is literally our constitution. Changing it, at least in this polarized political climate we're in currently, would be impossible.

while i agree we should keep the electoral college, a lot of good it has done us for the last 5-6 decades.
the whole thing is rigged... we only had the illusion of choice. enter trump, and choice was real for a moment... and their WHOLE system got compromised. in my best estimation, even he succumbed to whatever pressures on this second installment.
no voting will help us henceforth. the sooner we all -truly- accept that, the closer we are to actual change.

I understand why having the electoral college is beneficial. Not against it...but it does ensure a 2 party system

in every state? because it would require a constitutional amendment.
i can tell here in arkansas republicans hold every constitutional office and have super majorities in both legislatures and the supreme court.
all this stuff is pandering to the democrat base of over educated under employed malcontents you'll be fine.

I think you need to go back and take a Civics class again
Controlling Washington D.C. is not issue, it is needing 34 of the 50 states to ratify it. The Democrats hold a trifecta in just 16 states, while Republicans have 23 states.
