She has an inbound indictment. We will see more of this in the future hopefully. Other politicians don't resign because typically we don't arrest them. Times are changing.

I’m guessing kickbacks to fill a hole in her finances due to her out of control gambling.
Theft is a little too brazen and she doesn’t have the power to do so unless it’s her campaign funds.

A lot of potential sprawl.
She was a lawyer making over 6 figures at a firm. She ran the state Demo party. She raised funds and participated in many national liberal political efforts. She was a legislator. A perpetual candidate for office for close to a quarter century.
The amount of money she was around, near or impacted is insane. I’m fascinated to see what comes out of this. Public announcements must be close.
