Just saw Ben Crump on national news about a different black kid drowning

2 arrested after Texas teen drowns in lake. Family seeks murder charges
Seems like shitty behavior and the charges are probably warranted. Of course Crump wants them charged with murder.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office found that Erving died of drowning and that the manner was determined to be accidental, police said.

Black lives only matter if there is a white person to blame. Are these other two white? If not this will quickly fade from public view.

If they failed to help or report the kid as he drowned and tried to get rid of his stuff it is easy to see why people would want murder charges. I would certainly think it should be investigated as such, but obviously don't know enough to say whether or not it should be charged as such.
