They announced free lunch AND a free breakfast at our school. The email from the superintendent stated that the USDA has approved free lunch and breakfast for all Georgia public schools u til Dec 31st.

This is where most conservatives appear so out of touch and cringe worthy. Fighting tooth and nail against government profligacy that would literally save pennies if stopped, all the while our government is blowing trillions in other wasteful ways. Bruh, I’ve been getting lunches and breakfast for my 2nd grader every day for months. Before school started they would do distributions 2x a week and one of them would load you up with 4 - 5 boxes of fruits and vegetables. It was so much I started giving out to the homeless. I’ve got enough frozen diced onions and celery to make 20 jambalayas.

This is not where government spending is out of control. It wouldn't bother me to end the program, but there are far worse things that need to be addressed. Feeding kids isn't the hill I'm going to die on.

I got that same notice. My wife is out there picking up sammiches right now. frick it. I'm taking everything before my taxes go up.
