I live in WA state where it's 100% mail-in ballots for all elections. If you are over 18 and have a drivers license, you are registered to vote, and they send your ballot to the address on file. This is where the fraud starts and allows mail-in ballots to be sent to address' where the person may no longer live.

There are multiple military bases up here where the service members registered to vote, then leave the state. But ballots are still married there. It's ridiculous.

How do they purchase alcohol if they don’t have an ID?

How do they drive a car or cash a check at the bank?

Almost every other civilized country in the world requires some sort of ID. I understand that the Constitution grants the States powers over the elections, but there is no reason why the government cannot set standards that the state would have to follow.

Yes. I don't like the idea of too much federal government, but this would be a good function of a healthy federal government. Making certain states were running elections in a fair and secure manner.
Or tell states anyone not doing so, won't be allowed to participate in a federal election.

I know..... Depending on who is in power, that can be abused.

Could a group or citizen of a state file a lawsuit against the state regarding unsecured elections?

Cheesegrits said yesterday requiring an ID is just too much of a hardship for certain people who are poor, illiterate, etc. My contention is if Voter ID is adopted(by all states) in 2024 we can make sure everyone gets an ID. With the technology we have today, we should be able to make this happen for the small percentage of people who don’t have ID’s right now.

What is "non-photo ID"?

When the drinking age was 18 (also known as 16) in Louisiana, most bouncers would take an LSU ID (had no DOB) and a class schedule (had DOB that you could easily alter w an exacto knife and copier). This is what I’m told anyway; of course, I never tried that. Ever. even at Sports or Bengal or Tiger. Fred’s was a little harder bc you had to pass for 20. So I’m told.

A prime example of a real threat to Democracy.

Anyone involved in implementing and carrying out the state laws that do not require voter id or even a photo id should be found guilty of enabling voter fraud and treason.
