Just how self-defeating are people like Gary Chambers?

Thinking about his most recent episode in front of the State Senate re-districting committee.

Assuming that the goal is to get people on or around the fence to break their way on things, how can any reasonable person see this shite and think “goodness, we need more people with this mindset in charge of things!” ???

It is a shite playbook from a political strategy standpoint. And all it does is perpetuate toxic tribalism in my opinion, the opposite of progress.

If you haven’t seen it

I do suppose if neighbors were to coexist productively he’d have less of the attention that he craves. The antics haven’t exactly translated into any electoral successes for him.

Gravy has discovered the advantages of being a professional candidate. He never has to win anything, just maintain a war chest to grift from.

He shook Whitney Bank down for $30k a few years ago.

I would guess his main contributions come from the people of North Baton Rouge and I’m sure the Democratic Party helps out a bit.

If only we could have all these you guys like him and Justin Pearson fighting over the same congressional district having to try and out black each other. I’d pay money for that.

It’s easy. He doesn’t want real change. With real change he becomes irrelevant. The more he gets his people to believe they are victims, or to actually be in the worse position in life they can be, is he oxygen to survive.
Dumb people believe dumber people.

That people like Gravy have any sway in Louisiana politics is enough, in and of itself, to show how fricked this state is.

Thugs like Gravy and the Pearson guy from Tennessee are hell bent on starting a race war.

People like gravy will be asking for programs and tax payer money even when my grandchildren are around. It’s exhausting.

Very self-defeating. Nobody with any degree of intelligence will listen to him so his followers are stupid and emotional.

Is it wrong that I take great pleasure in seeing him demented and angry?

It’s his living.

He isn’t executing some big picture grand political strategy.

His only way to feed himself is to grift off of race baiting.

He is just giving voice to a feeling that they have. They despise white people and would just as soon see them dead. Mainly so that they could pick watches and jewelry off the deceased.

It sure worked out for Ossof in Georgia. Just keep running the same shite candidate for over a decade, and eventually name recognition gets him in.
