He saw their requests were leading toward not guilty

...time for the jurors to get a visit from handlers to "persuade" them to see ut the right way.

They'll be threatened, paid off, etc before morning.

Yep. This judge saw what was coming and panicked. So easy to see.

I'm not sure how you can infer from what was asked for that they are leaning towards not guilty. It's magnitudes more likely to be a hung jury than not guilty and even more likely than hung jury that it will be guilty on something.

I am shocked this wasn't a quick verdict though and that they asked to hear the instructions again. At least one person on the jury needs more clarity on what the law is.

guilty on something?

He’s either going to be guilty on all or none. How could you ever find him guilty on one of these but not all?

Didn't he say he'd release them at 4:30 this morning?

They will get information on the jurors leaning for not guilty and have them removed for some BS reason and put in a Biden alternate juror.

In a perfect world they wouldn’t, but this judge is corrupt and is pulling out all the stops to try and get a guilty verdict. This isn’t a real trial, it’s a set up.

If you had a vested interest in the case, had bent over backwards to ensure a guilty verdict, and essentially been a part of the prosecution. You might panic about a “Not Guilty” decision.

Do we know it wasn’t an agreed upon instruction by both attorneys? The attorneys walk through and argue/agree to every line of the instructions. The judge gets the final say in a dispute, but that seems like a reasonable request from the defense too. Means Trump and the Attorneys get to be present as the judge reads verbatim the language.

That may be NY law.

...because he has a vested interest in Trump being found guilty.

"Every line of the instructions" : FOX reported that the judge refused to leave a copy of the 50 page instructions for the jury's use. Several attys said that they were complicated & widely open to various interpretations. Both said that this was a slam dunk winning appeal issue by itself.

They're going to have Robert DeNiro barking outside their windows tonight while they're trying to sleep.

Given that the judge wouldn't allow the law to even be discussed in closing arguments, I'd say more than one

This judge didn’t want the instructions leaked and wants the jurors to be pressured tonight. It’s obvious frickery.
