We were in Letlow's district before redistricting put us in Johnson's. Her constituent services were head and shoulders above Johnson's. Hell, she's more responsive than Johnson now and we're not even in her district any more. I don't know what kind of president she would make but I think she would at least take the job seriously and not try to use it as a stepping stone.

idk if you take a university president position if you’re a congresswoman that doesn’t seem like even a lateral move.

When you’re a single parent to 2 kids under 10, it makes sense. Also, very possible her district gets changed again depending on the Supreme Court case.

For those asking for her credentials:

Letlow worked as director of education and patient safety for Tulane University School of Medicine. In 2018, she was named director of external affairs and strategic communications for the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM). In 2020, she was a finalist for the presidency of ULM.

It's an awful thing to say about her life, overall. I'm certain she would give all of this up in a second to have him back.

But, it's probably not a completely off base thing to say when isolated to her career alone. If he is still alive, she isn't in Congress. If she's not in Congress, she would never be considered for the President of LSU (if she even is being considered). So in a macabre and certainly unwanted way, it's not unreasonable to say that her husband's death directly led to the advancement in her own personal career.

Well it’s the opinion of a dumb POS.

Her husband tragically died at the age of 41 leaving her and her two young kids. I’m sure she is thrilled and thinks to herself every day how her life for her and her family is better without her late husband which forced her to be the sole provider, single parent and oh yeah losing her spouse

Dumb POS

No it’s not.

You never specified her career. You never said professionally

You said

He stated a purely limited capacity to one segment of her life one could make that argument, You didn’t say that despite you now saying that you did. Your statement was a blanket statement if it being the best thing that has ever happened to her.so now you are a liar in addition to being a pos. A common association and typical for cubs fans but quite brazen to do in one single thread

1-Her boyfriend lives in BR. She has small children. I believe this rumor (even though I hadn’t heard it before this) only bc it makes total sense, and I think she’s qualified to be president of LSU. I hope it’s true.

2-I’ve always said that Landry would be a way better senator than governor. He’d always vote the right way, and he can go on Fox News and piss people off, including and especially GOPe types. Would be awesome if he decided to primary Cassidy. Would he have to step down as governor to run?

The scenario I'd like to see is to see the Chancellor position reestablished for LSUBR. Then have her fill that position and find a system-wide President.

I don't know her personally, but have heard nothing but good things about her.

I have met her. I think She’s way more suited to this position than Congress, and she would do a great job.
