What’s that line from Casablanca

The one that comes to mind is, "here’s looking at you, kid". But that line doesn't make sense in this context. Are you referring to another quote?

Next step needs to be a civil suit by the Tea Party groups against the aide and McCain for siccing the IRS on them.

I didn't vote that year. Didn't like either candidate.

Plus, I got so fricking tired of hearing that stupid phrase, "He's a maverick".

What difference does it make at this point?

That sack of shite has lied for years about his involvement with this.

Supeona the aide. If he sheds light on anything, bring Lerner back up on charges. And charge mcCain if aide flips.

He gets my respect for being a POW!!

But he also gets a big and a FU*K You, for his complete Pompous political career! I second the motion to drag his arse off his death bed and make him answer for this. Then give him a dramatic "thumbs up / Thumbs down", like Commodus in Gladiator or his BS thumbs down on congress floor and put his arse to death...to much??

I've always said Obama was an awful President, and history will show he was the better option in 2008

I imagine Obama did much worse things. We just probably won't hear about them for a while.

Is McCain the actual acting force on this or is he a pawn/skapegoat for the Obama administration?

It appears he's just part of the team. This was expected from Obama administration officials and Democrats. This expectation is why no one is surprised when we found out Democrats targeted these conservative non-profits with the IRS. But "conservatives" with active and primary roles in the IRS targeting was not expected.

That lying POS (name we don't mention) has been in denial the entire time:

quote:

Judicial Watch previously reported on the 2013 meeting. Senator McCain then issued a statement decrying “false reports claiming that his office was somehow involved in IRS targeting of conservative groups.”

Thus the name "decepticon".

My post was a response to someone a few pages back talking about the 2008 election.

What you fail to mention is that political action organizations are not entitled to 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. The political organizations were engaged in tax fraud. That’s why no one went to jail over that fake outrage.

How do you reconcile the fact that the IRS also targeted individuals who were merely associated with the tea party. You can’t!

Did you ever wonder why no one went to jail over that?

Did you ever wonder why no Organization affiliated with Democrates or left leaning were targeted?

How many democratic affiliated orgs were given same treatment...I'll wait

This should leave zero doubt that he intentionally took a dive in the 2008 election.

A sitting member of Congress planning to use the IRS to purposely limit the First Amendment rights of citizens? That sounds pretty fricking illegal to me. Every single one of those groups should be suing the blinding, bleeding, howling frick out of everyone involved for working to deny them their First Amendment rights. If McCain is part of the suit and he dies, then his estate is sued to frick and back.

This is the kind of bullshite that cannot be allowed to stand. Ever.
