Hot take: over the centuries, the biggest beneficiaries of slavery are African descendants in the west.
Not sure how this is even debatable. While current white Americans and Europeans are the most harmed, blacks in the west are significantly better off than African still in Africa.
And African countries would not have the international support that they have without significant black populations in the west lobbying for them.
