your subject isn't correct. The document indicates post marks are required.

anything mailed in before June 23 without a postmark can now be counted.

In other news, the Postmaster General, in an effort to save money on ink, has ordered the post office to quit placing post marks on all mail.

That isn't what it says, though.

Congrats to Joe Biden for being the 1st president to receive 350% of the popular vote

And in other future election news, Donald Trump is still re-elected because of the electoral college vote.

So glad that reading comprehension still exists within a select few posters, rather than those that have to be told what somethings says, even when it doesn't say what they are being told it says.

so ballots that never went through the mail, proving they are fraudulent, are still to be counted as though they were legal votes. well why have an election at all if thats how you are going to do it? just run the copy machine 24/7 printing out fake votes until your guy wins

I strongly disagree with mail-in ballots but based on New York allowing them there really is nothing objectionable about this ruling. It just says that instead of an absentee ballot having to be both postmarked by June 23rd and received by June 25th to be counted the only requirement for the ballot to be counted is that it was postmarked by June 23rd. There is nothing in that order saying they don't have to be postmarked at all.

How did they get there with no postmark?

People in the DNC office counting the votes created them

What the frick is up with New York? Got governors killing folks, health commissioners resigning, and now full-on electioneering in plain sight. Crazy what we are seeing happen. It's hard to turn all this shite off there is so much going on.

The sentence that is being misunderstood is shite.

1) received by June 24, 2020, without regard to whether such ballots are postmarked by June 23, 2020

That does not say they have to be postmarked, you are implying it.

Maybe somewhere buried in the article says postmarks are required but that sentence doesn't.

Ack-chew-ully, it is super-enfranchising people who are dead, never lived in NY, never even visited NY, never voted in any country on the planet, haven't been born/conceived, etc.

This is the best argument for the electoral college, any state can cheat but regardless it will still only get its allotted electoral votes. Can you imagine California and Oregon knowing about how many votes are needed to swing a presidential election in a popular vote after the East has voted and the polls are closed and they have another hour.

You are cherry picking. The full sentence includes "and 2)..." I can cherry pick something out of a complete sentence to create meaning that isn't there.

I guess I'm confused. Your thread title doesn't match what it says in the document. Am I missing something?
