Dude you have the worst fricking legal takes, surprised anybody hires you, do you only take on male clients as a divorce lawyer knowing it’s a losing case from the get go?

Let's be honest with ourselves, we all know this is a better fit for you anarchistic lawyers.

Prosecuting people for posting publicly-available information and nothing is police state shite. Incredibly scary stuff.
The next step would be prosecuting people for posting about the locations of DWI checkpoints, cops running radar, filming cops in public, etc.

This is probably not going to survive scrutiny if that's all they did.
You may be right, but if they can’t get him in the courts, they need to send an unmarked black van to disappear him. He’s putting agents’ lives in danger.

Think about the implications of this, generally.

But this isn't all is it, yet you are hoping the case is thin.
You people don't like the guard rails put in place for a civil society. There are clear laws he needs to follow. Isn't following them. Yet you want to argue that he's innocent in any of this. Again anaracy is your vice, so you complain about having to follow civil socialtal rules.

In terms of the location posts or the scanner/felon/probation stuff?

I'm trying to protect those guardrails, specifically the 1st Amendment.
The 1A is one of our biggest tools to fight illegality by LEO.
The 2 lines above are only about the "location posts" aspects.

Did he post actual threats or just names and objective, public information?
Do you need me to explain the difference in confidential and public?
Tell me counselor, does broadcasting the location of an ICE raid fall under confidential or public?

He was also doxxed and threaten that if anyone that came near him he would shoot them...
I thought I read his words as “use lethal force” (as allowed by law) rather than specifically threatening to shoot.

I'm not
I'm defending the Constitution, specifically the 1st Amendment. It's non-partisan.

If the ICE officers are seen in public and that information is relayed to third parties, then public.

Apparently, a convicted felon in possession of a police scanner is against the law plus the doxxing of federal agents is a no no. I would have thought you knew this.
He knows this, he just doesn’t care because he it’s his leftist comrades doing it. If it was a MAGA protester, his opinion would be vastly different

I didn't. I clearly said I wasn't up to speed on all the details. When people posted that i clearly said if the radio/scanner stuff is why he was arrested, that will likely be an issue for him.

Stupidity.
I'm arguing for the 1A in a non-partisan way.
Y'all are getting real scary arguing we should trample the 1A because you're being partisan.

For someone “not up to speed” on a subject, you sure don’t mind spouting off uniformed opinions within this thread.
Continuously doubling down on stupidity

I spouted off legal opinions about a very small slice of the pie.
Those were also intentionally framed to keep that slice small.
Nothing wrong with that.
