ne That sound you hear is Mueller's team throwing laptops and files into a shredder.

The FBI has been losing laptops and destroying self incriminating evidence at a feverish pitch the past 2 years.

Do you know why so many people take the plea deal vs fighting the fed in court? It’s because most people realize they are taking an enormous risk if they go to court. What choice would you make regardless of your guilt or innocence? Going to court where minimum sentencing requirements and the possibility of spending 10, 15, 30 + years in jail are on the table if you are found guilty,

In a Shakespearean twist of fate, should Flynn manage to get his plea annulled because the prosecutor wasn't being honest enough, he will likely be doing just this.

If Flynn gets his plea thrown out due to prosecutorial misconduct, the case will likely be thrown out with prejudice.

Then he and his son will be arrested for FARA violations and money laundering

Yes, let's assume that the govt can now never prosecute Flynn for lying to the FBI on that particular day.

Just the kidnapping plot, taking money from Russians to meet with Putin, refusing to declare as a foreign agent while working as NATSEC advisor, probably lying on his security forms and so on to deal with - none of which are being charged by Mueller.

Judge Rudolph Contreras recused himself.
Why do you think that is? You think OIG DOJ ordered this? Or FISA Judge Rudolph Contreras; out of no where said ,'oh hey my bad I was a political activist judge and I for no reason want to come clean'?

Being Flynn's role and past titles. I would think he would pass the clearance to be head spook. To pass this clearance, all of the foreign agent documents under Obama had to have been provided. Obama fired Flynn because he spoke out on terrorism. Flynn was set in a perjury trap being surveilled without a lawyer present. Being Flynn's job titles; he is not stupid enough to lie--so they trapped him, but he is smart enough to catch the political activists in their game.

The DIA Director is not the "head spook" in the IC. Bout 8 places down, tbh.

But of course he's still privileged to some very, very sensitive intel and ops. Guess he got fired because he couldn't do the right thing in the end.

Is one act less moral than the other or is legality the litmus test for morality?

Google.com should see you right. It's a search engine where you can find information yourself. Try 18 USC 207, RT and Flynn for the taking money from Russians allegation. Try Sarah Simpson for the money laundering. Figure the rest out with a mix of intuition, ingenuity and that one super aggressive former prosecutor on Twitter.

On the flip side, given how many different theories have been floated to try and discredit Mueller or suggest foul play, I'm surprised no one's implied that Flynn actually flipped way before he did so officially and his attorneys were pumping Trump's attorneys for info during the time they were still cooperating.

ETA: Susan Simpson, sorry.

He couldn't do the 'right" thing? What is the right thing? NOT speaking out about President Obama's dumpster fire foreign policy calling ISIS the JV team and so on?

Obama had a war with his generals and Clapper or Branan probably weren't sad that Michael Hastings gas pedal became stuck causing his firey death.

Here is a tame version of Obama's war with his generals.

How Mike Flynn Became America’s Angriest General - POLITICO Magazine

BONUS Points question for you: Name any sucessful foreign policy of President Obama. -- UBL getting killed doesn't count.

Posting a particular US code does not help me with the kidnapping and taking money from Russia accusations. I am trying to discern what the exact accusation is. Then we can evaluate the credibility of the accusation and how it applies to the US Code and whether Flynn is exposing himself by withdrawing his plea.
