Even though there were people supporting the violent overthrow of the government, his tactics were considered wrong.

Fast forward to today. With less evidence, the democrats are shrieking worse than McCarthy. With less danger, they are shrieking worse than McCarthy. Hell McCarthy was just a few decades from Communists actually killing people within the US. He had reason to be worried. Face Book advertisements are not equal to dead Americans.

We do live in Bizarro Times. Democrats want censorship and see Russians under every rock. Everything liberals cried about when I was in college,they are now guilty of to a worse degree.

It was only a few over zealous ministers trying to burn books in the 80s. Now we have wide swaths of liberals screaming for government controlled censorship... but of course only if liberals control the government.

true - We have lived it - younger folks can only ponder it - they have to come down on one side or the other of the "what if" scenarios.

We have seen it unfold in all its irrational convoluted dystopian mechanization. IF it were not an actual observation it would be laughed off the stage as a theatrical presentation - too absurd to be considered.
