I know Marty Maley as a pretty good lawyer around Baton Rouge and Ascension area. Not sure about his statewide appeal

He told one when he was a speaker at a big GOP event in BR early last spring which I attended. I remembered looking at the other young-ish folks in my group and everyone was cringing real bad. I don’t remember exactly what he said, but it was really dumb. If you’re going to do a racist joke, shitte better be really really funny, or else it just looks bad.
