Former Republican presidential nominee John McCain offered his preferences Monday night on “The Tonight Show.” “I like Chris Christie. I like Bobby Jindal. I like a number of those people who have succeeded in states that have both Republican and Democrat,” he said.

I wish I had never voted for that guy

Who's he trying to help?

Christie would be a horrible presidential candidate, IMO. Romney seriously looked at him as a VP candidate and decided he had too many skeletons in the closet to be a running mate.

That should tell any GOP voter that neither of those two should get the nomination.

i dont think jindal would even win re-election in louisiana if he was able to run again.

If he's not going to run, then what the hell is he going to do the rest of his professional life? Hope a Republican wins and appoints him to White House cabinet? He's been either a political appointee or a politician for practically his entire professional career.

He just doesn't want to see a Rand Paul or Rubio run for Prez.

I'm not crazy about him at all but I disagree with this. IMO he is the only one presently out there that could win the popularity contest with the uneducated masses that is the presidential election. The average low info voter would rate him as more likeable than any of the other names out there and unfortunately that carries a shitload of weight with a shitload of voters.

Well if that's not a ringing endorsement....

I see Jindal running for Congress after a couple of years out of office. All politicans popularity goes up after they are out of awhile. I could see him being a political appointee though.
